Forwarding from Yahoo, Sky and BT Mail

The short version. Yahoo and Sky only forward automatically on Yahoo's paid plan. BT forwards everything, not just the school. For both, the cleanest route is to give the school your Bobbie address as a second email, and forward the odd letter by hand when it comes.

Yahoo and Sky#

On the free plan, Yahoo's filters can move mail into a folder but not forward it. You have three choices:

• Give the school your Bobbie address. Ask the office to add it as a second contact, or put it into ParentPay and the rest. See giving the school your address.
• Forward each letter as it comes. Open it, press Forward, send to your Bobbie address. Twenty seconds, and Bobbie reads the forwarded copy exactly as it would the original.
• Yahoo Mail Plus. If you pay for it, forwarding is under Settings, More settings, Mailboxes, your address, Forwarding. Enter your Bobbie address and Yahoo will forward everything, so this suits an address you only use for school.

BT Mail#

BT forwards all mail or none, from Settings, Mail, Forwarding. Turn it on, enter your Bobbie address, and choose Keep a copy so the originals stay in BT Mail. Because it forwards everything, it suits an address that only the school uses. Otherwise, forward letters by hand or give the school your Bobbie address.

Anything else#

Nearly every provider has Rules or Filters in its settings with a Forward action. Make one: from the school's domain, forward to your Bobbie address. If yours cannot, the address route works everywhere, and so does the share sheet for a screenshot of the letter.
