The calendar
The month view, the day panel, each child's colour, things that repeat, things that span days, and how Google Calendar events show alongside if you have connected it.

The short version. Menu, Calendar. A month at a glance, a day when you press it, every child in their own colour. Arrows move by month; Today brings you back.

The month
Every day shows its things in the children's colours; a day with something to confirm, pay or do carries a marker. Use the arrows to move a month at a time and Back to this month to return.
The day
Press a day and it opens with everything on it in order: events with their times, all-day things first, payments and deadlines due. Press anything to open it. Done things stay on the day, ticked, so the record is complete.
Repeats and spans
A thing that repeats (swimming every Thursday until December) shows on each of its days; open one to edit just that day or the whole series. A thing that spans days (a residential, the holidays, an INSET day) shows on each day it covers.
Google Calendar alongside
If you have connected Google, your Google events show on the same days in a quieter style, so the family's week and your own work week sit together. Switch on Show the AskBobbie calendar in Google and Bobbie's things appear in your Google Calendar too. See Google Calendar.
What is really happening
The calendar shows confirmed things and, in a lighter style, things still waiting in the Inbox, so you can see the shape of the week before you have checked everything. A child's own additions stay off it until a grown-up confirms them. All times are in your household's time zone.
Questions people ask
- How do I add something directly?
- Tell Bobbie, or press the plus on the calendar, fill in the title and when, and Save. It is yours, so it goes straight on.
- Can I see just one child?
- Yes: each child has their own page from the Family page or the menu, with only their things. The calendar itself shows everyone, colour-coded.
- What is the red dot on a day?
- Something on that day needs attention: an unconfirmed item, a payment due, or a deadline.
