When something does not arrive
An email that landed but shows nothing, a WhatsApp Bobbie did not answer, a Gmail code that never came, a round-up that went to the app. The checks, in order, for each.

The short version. Start on Settings, Integrations. The Email in card says what became of the last email; the WhatsApp card says whether your phone is linked. Nine times out of ten the answer is there.
An email arrived but nothing appeared
Look at the first line of the Email in card.
- "waiting to be read" for more than a couple of minutes: Bobbie's reader is behind. It will catch up; if it has not in ten minutes, tell us.
- "read, nothing in it to keep": the email had no dates, money, actions or things to bring. A test that says "hello" produces nothing. Forward a real letter.
- "read: 2 things straight onto the calendar": they are on the calendar and Today, not the Inbox, because the email came from someone in your household.
- "read: 3 things in the Inbox to check": they are in the Inbox, waiting for you.
- "could not be read", with a reason: tell us the reason and we will fix it.
- No new "Last email" at all: it never reached Bobbie. Check the address you sent to, letter for letter, against the card. If you forwarded from a rule, check the rule saved and matches the sender.
Bobbie did not answer on WhatsApp
- Is the phone linked? The WhatsApp card shows your number if so. If not, link it. A message from an unlinked phone gets no reply, on purpose.
- Did you send a question or a letter? A letter gets a short "got it" and goes to the Inbox; a question gets an answer.
- Was it a file Bobbie cannot read (a video, a spreadsheet, a file over 15 MB)? It says so.
- A child's phone with Let Bobbie answer off gets "ask your parent for access" to any question, by design.
The Gmail code never came
- Give it two minutes; Gmail is sometimes slow.
- Check the address you typed into Gmail, letter for letter, against the card.
- Press Add a forwarding address in Gmail again; a fresh code is sent.
- The code shows on the Integrations page only while Gmail is chosen under Forward from your own mailbox.
The round-up went to the app, not WhatsApp
WhatsApp only lets Bobbie start a conversation within a day of your last message to it. Message Bobbie anything and tomorrow's will arrive on WhatsApp, or switch that round-up to email under Settings, Round-ups. See round-ups.
Google events are not showing
Pulled in every fifteen minutes. If still nothing after that, open the Google Calendar card: a connection with a problem says Needs a look. Disconnect and connect again; it takes a minute.
Still stuck
Email [email protected] with what you sent, when, and what the Integrations page says. Forward the email itself if it was one. A person will look the same day.
Questions people ask
- How long should an email take?
- It usually shows on the Integrations page within ten seconds of arriving, and its items in the Inbox within a minute. Longer than five minutes means something is wrong; the page will say what.
- Who do I tell?
- [email protected], with what you sent, when, and what the Integrations page says. If it is an email, forward it to us as well and we will read it by hand and fix whatever went wrong.
